First losing week in about 10 weeks. Couple bad beats. PHI 1st and goal - FG Fails to cover. ATL dominates TB then sputters and fails to cover. Low total (43)
on Lions game - but DET fails to score much (System did say poor DET RZ) so
no more overs without good Red Zone match ups. On to Week 16!

Said I would not bet a side on 2 strong teams. So for better or worse - I stayed off two strong system picks - MIN@CAR & PHI@LAR. We'll see if that rule proves prudent.

A meaningless last minute FG stole a win from us vs Oakland. Bills led first half, but fell away and cost a loss. I called the Under at Seattle, but changed to PHI and cost us a loss. We made money again this week 6-4, good week and close to a great week again.

Key Injuries!
Late in the season injuries are common and are key to capping games. Most Injury reports are a laundry list of like 30 players. You can't tell who is a starter or who will effect the outcome. We've added injuries for every game. Starters Only, DNP or Out Only. If a player is limited in practice they usually play. Hope you like the new look and it helps you with your picks
We have also made the Head to Head Rush Offense vs Rush Defense etc, more specific. Loses Match Up or Loses Big - is a big difference - you cant tell which it is now.

Golf Budget
Last week I cashed a winning ticket for $600 on Cantlay and spent more than usual on golf $250. It was money well spent. I did not win, but I realized less is more as far as golf bets go. If you bet $100 per week on each tour (PGA & Euro) - that's $200 a week or $1000 over a 5 week month. You have to hit big or often to stay ahead. Most of our big wins have come on exceptional stand out players that we bet bigger money on at lesser odds when we felt they were about to break thru. Spieth first win $30 @30-1 paid $900 and Cantlay $20 @30-1 $600, are good examples. Longshots hit too @100-1 about 10 times per yr - but you cant cover them every week at $5 each at the Vegas Books. .
Betting Strategy
We can cover up to 10 players for $50 on each tour at the Vegas Books for $100. $30 on a hot favorite still leaves 4 more bets.

By adding Online bets to the strategy at a book like Bovada.com- we can cover longshots without breaking the bank - as they have a $1 minimum.
Profit and Loss

With bad beats blindsiding everyone, every week - Gut Picks are tough, sure they make sense - but the results of the games don't.
I mentioned I would Follow the system more closely moving forward. I did this week and it worked! (8-2) 80%. Its really a combination of both. But no Gut Picks that go against the System, or System picks that don't make sense. Also, looking more at both the Side "and" the Total for each game. Which looks more likely to produce a winning ticket. Studying the Head to Head stats closely as well. That was the winning recipe this week.

We Hit Thursday with Pats. Bank is in the black. At first glance, the rest of the games are tough match ups. My initial gut said just call it a week and stay off the rest of them (See Game Notes). I went ahead and bet 3 more. Warning, each of them are prohibitive for different reasons.
Bills
lose PO and RO big. I just like the spirit of the team an the talent. Bengals had 1 decent game and Bills beat Denver and ATL. Gonna stick with them this week - but could be a mistake? The WR injury is not key, as Clay is the go to guy, but the starting LB out is and a corner is Ques, those could factor. I've regretted not taking an injury off on games before? I like them at +3.5, maybe not at just +3.
Colts
have a ton of talent, but a terrible offensive line. Luck will be back soo, I think Brissett has one great game left in him, at home. Niner's cross country road trip, but SF wins RO and PO - so don't bet the farm!
Texans
I like them with points against any team right now, But, it is the Chiefs, so no guarantees there either.
They do win the match up though.
