NFL PICKS WEEK 3 REVIEW
We made a lot of great predictions. Called BUF over DEN, HOU to cover NE, etc. However, we didn't bet half of them. Did follow my gut on Dallas and picked up a late win and added $50 to bank. Called the exact score DAL game. 3-0 Monday night. 2-1 Thursdays. Even after a rough start, bank only down about $50. By not doing parlays, Straight bet wins have kept the bank healthy. Record improving weekly. Finding our groove.

I'm still working on ways to include more info for you and still keep it clean and legible. This weeks focus was picks though, with a close eye on injury data. Will post official bank later today.

NFL PICKS WEEK 2 (REVIEW)
How Did We Do?
Green] System: Called Both Sides of 5 games
Red] Injuries: 6 of 8 Teams with Starters out on Offense (Did Not Cover)
We bet 2 of them = 2 Losses. I will use injury No Bet in the future when I see those.
Orange]:
2 Games had No Week 1 Data - we bet them both = 2 Losses
3 Games were Easy Calls - BUF to cover, ATL to outscore GB,
System called HOU to cover - No Bet = Missed 3 easy wins.
So, 3 Avoidable Losses and 3 Missed Wins - that's huge. Lesson Learned.
Blue] The Good:
System called HOU to cover
Called the OVER NE vs NO
Nailed the SF game
Nailed the DET game.
I had to clean up the look of the pick grid, that took me away from picks a little. Its a 20 Round (week) fight. We are feeling them out, and ready to go the distance. 2 wild weeks, but only down $69, 93% of bank in tact. All Good.

NFL PICKS WEEK 2
Game Note: Spent a lot of time on new grid. It showed me Injury No Bets for CHI and MIN, bets were already posted - cant change a posted bet. New grid will help a lot next week. Also bet the 2 games with no week 1 data, MIA,TB. LAC dominated but gave it away late. Its a 20 week season, feeling good about next week.
_______________________________________________
Its early in the year, but I saw quite a few opportunities this week. Plenty of picks to choose from.

NFL PICKS WEEK 2 THURSDAY NIGHT 2017
CIN -6.5 vs HOU (37.5)
Projected CIN 17-14 (31) (week 2- very early to count on projected scores)
Bengals
Bengals and Dalton sucked last week vs a great Ravens defense. But too early to write off CIN, a team that usually wins early in the yr. They also have a defense, are at home and angry.
Texans
Texans are without LB Cushing now, so maybe not great - but with Watt - they can not be written off either. Watson at QB is a smart move due to his mobility over tackling dummy Savage. (Texans never fix the Off Line and just change QBs instead). However, O'Brien gave all the first team reps in preseason and week 1 to Savage. So, it will take weeks for Watson to settle in and @ the Bengals defense is a big ask? This is especially true with both tight ends out for HOU.
Total
Should be low scoring (RZO) Red Zone Offense below. But the Under is already factored at (37.5) so No easy Under bet here either. Its week 2 - if just one offense struggles the other could capitalize and it could be a blow out and go way over? The both could and it could be a low scoring snore fest? I'll know for sure by tomorrow. LOL.
Fantasy
As you can see from the stats below - START THE RUNNING BACKS! Too early to be sure but looks like both pass games will struggle (PO), but big day for Texans RB Lamar Miller (Blue out) and Bengals RBs Hill, Bernard or Mixon (RO).
Save Your Money!
May be a fun game to watch with Watson, a comedy of airs, or a blow out? Not betting either way. If I did, just for fun I'd try HOU Moneyline with the Over for $20.

NFL PICKS WEEK 1 REVEIW
PRESEASON GAME FILM?
As you know, our wining record comes from specializing in head to head stats, There are no relevant stats in week one. So, this year, I studied game film from week 3 preseason - 1st half only (starters vs starters). We found a few pearls (Browns improved, Eagles solid, Savage sucks in Houston), but for the most part, it was misleading.
Examples:
Wk3 PS
PS Colts and Tolzien looked great!
Rams looked terrible
Wk1 RS
Tolzien stunk
Rams looked great!
Wk3 PS
Saints looked great!
Viking looked bad
Wk1 RS
Saints stunk!
Vikings looked great!
7 picks week one was a little careless and resulted in our worst week in 6 yrs 2-5. But, most pros got clobbered. Highly respected Gold Sheet went 0-4. In 6 yrs we've had only a few weeks under 50%.
We'll take it slow the next few weeks until the stats start to mean something. Game film will play a larger part in pick selection this yr, this will pay dividends combined with stats after a few weeks. Ready to get back to head to head stats and have a great yr!
