NEW TOOLS IN THE BOX

Drive Success (DR)
Drive Success Stats come into play this week in Three games.
This Stat was only added a week ago, so untested. I created this algorithm to try and Predict Over and Unders. It could be used to predict a blow out as well. if one team flourishes on offense and the other 3 and Outs - you have a blow out and a 14 point cover.  Which is what we all want for Xmas.

Drive Success [Both Sides]
(IND @ CLE) Colts win "Both Sides" of that "Drive Success" Match Up. Meaning they should have success on Offensive Drives and the Browns should Not. However, Colts only win the Off Line Matchup on Offense and do not win Rush Offense or Pass Offense.  IND only wins overall Matchup by 4 pts (30) to Qualify. They are projected to cover the spread. Today's game will give us more insight to the value of that stat. Maybe it is a Green Light to Qualify a Pick. Maybe just another Factor to consider.

Combined Drive Success (OVER/UNDER)
Combined Drive Success Stats come into play this week in two games. Here's how it works. If Both Teams win the Offensive Drive Success Matchup - Both Teams should Score Regularly = Over.  If Both Lose - Scoring should be Low  = Under.

I Look for Both Teams to Win the (PO) Pass Offense Matchup too - to consider an Over.  As you see in the chart below - we also have the (DIF) or difference between the (Book Total) and the (Projected Total) to consider, as well as the (RZ) or Combined Projected Red Zone TD %.

Last week only 1 Game Qualified for (DR) Combined Drive Success and (PO) Combined Pass Offenses. (NO-PIT) in Dark Blue.  So, both teams were Projected to Have Successful Drives and Pass Games.
That Game went (Over).

This Week (BAL/MIA) are UNDER in the Drive Success and Pass Offense Columns. (NE/SD) are OVER in the Drive Success and Pass Offense Columns. (See Full Stats and Picks Chart - Top of Page)

Blow Out Alert (Team Name - Dark Blue)
I set this algorithm about 3 weeks ago. Too my surprise - Two Teams Lit Up Dark Blue this week. LIONS and PATS.
Here's How "BLOW OUT" works. I award additional Points to the projected Score of Each Team if there is a Major Mismatch. If those Points and the Projected Red Zone Success are High enough - the Team Lights up Blue. These Team Lit up for two very different reasons. Let's Take a Look,

(DET) - Lit Up because TB Lost 9 Points for losing Every Offensive Category. OL, RO, PO and Red Zone. DET Actually Lost the Offensive Line Battle, But did get Legit points for a 67% Red Zone Offense Projection. At -12.5 this one is Risky.

(NE) - Got Pts for Winning Every Offensive Match Up, RZ, and SD Losing OL and RO.

LIONS Have Struggled on Offense Lately, Pats have Not. As You can see, PAT's are a much better candidate to blow out it's opponent this week. At -3.5 I love the Pats.

We'll see how these all play out Today.
These Stats for all games are at the top of this page

Good Luck!
