FIRST HALF

First Detroit drive - on fire. Bush 14 yd run. 7- 0

Lions Def shut down Ravens Offense. 9 Points - 2 of which came from Defensive Penalties. 74 yards worth. A couple were bad calls.  But no surprise from a Schwartz team.  He couldn't coach a jumper off a ledge. Megatron dropped 2 passed that would have prolonged scoring drives.

Flacco has the demeanor of a guy with 100 million. Looks like he's phoning it in and would rather be sports fishing. Plays like it too. 3 Field Goals.

Ravens 9-7

SECOND HALF

3rd Quarter:
Stafford's side arm passes are as ineffective as his Amish beard. Flacco must have dinner reservations - uninspired drive for another Field Goal. Johnson finally catches a few for Detroit. Drive ends with a FG after the worst Non Call for Pass Interference of the year. Defender actually gripped and held receiver's left arm in clear sight for 2 or 3 seconds in the end zone. Bad call May cost Detroit the game and a playoff birth. 

Ravens 12 - 10

4th Quarter:
Give the Lions defense credit. They've been on the field most of the game and still have held Ravens to 12.  The explosive Detroit offense needs to light the fuse. Raven defense not playing that great. They have shut down the run. But Stafford needs to make some passing plays, Hey there's one now.  Up to the 40. Can they score? NO! Stafford throws to a well covered Johnson. 4th down. Stafford skipping reads and throwing only to Megatron.  Real bright hillbilly. The defense has given him enough three and outs and possessions to put this game away a long time ago.

Ravens 3 and out. Well, there's another gift from your defense Stafford. Do something with it. The defensive linemen should drown him in the showers if he chokes on this drive. Sloppy side arm throw to Ravens linebacker. Pick!  May want to shower at home tonight.

Flacco throws to someone in the bleachers twice. 5th field goal.  Dude..."Go eat, you're not yourself when your hungry."  Detroit ball: High sloppy pass from Stafford for 30 yards. Needs every inch of Calvin's wing span to catch the garbage he throws. 

Score 15-10.

Stafford over throws Johnson on 2nd down. short pass to Pedigree 1st down. 
4:19 Over the middle to Pedigree, to the Raven's 10 yard line. Catch challenged - he caught it - never dropped the ball.  But Ref's been burning the Lions all night. Play stands.

Cover not looking good. That's why Lions on don't bet list. Stafford overthrow in end zone. 3rd down "Announcer: "May be 4 down territory, not sure" Really dumb ass? 2 minutes left, down by 5, inside Ravens 30. What the hell else would they do? Touchdown!  Going for 2. Stafford never looks at anyone but Johnson. Throws out of of the end zone. 

Lions 16 - 15

Lions fail to kick through the end zone - Jacoby Jones runs it back to the 33. Flacco overthrows by 10 yards. next play - False start. Yeah.. both teams don't bet list. Flacco throws it away. 3rd down, Jacoby Jones - to Lions 45. Overthrow by Flacco, Again. Flacco takes his time coming to line. Burning the clock.  4th and 3, 61 yard FG attempt.  Good!

Ravens 18 - 16

Stafford chance to win it.  Throws a Pick on 1st down!  Lions 3 time outs. Don't use any of them.  Brilliant Schwartz.  Game Over!

The Lions defense must feel like they are playing catch with an infant. They keep handing Stafford the ball - hoping he can throw it.  The Detroit defense gave them enough possessions to score 50. I've said it before. Schwartz and Stafford should be selling shoes next year. 

Nice Offensive show Baltimore!  6 Field Goals. 

Playoffs!... Playoffs!  These Teams are pathetic!

And Yes! The bad call, which would have given the Lions the ball on the Ravens 1 yard line for a sure TD - (23-18) did cost the Lions a win and probably a playoff birth.

Refs: We gave those blind losers a raise last year.
